Airbnb Cleaning Checklist 

Bathrooms:

  • Change and replace towels & bath mats 

  • Wipe out & rinse the sink bowl

  • Wipe the mirrors with Windex

  • Wipe faucets

  • Wipe shower walls, glass, and floor

  • Refill hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash 

  • Mop floor

  • Remove trash

  • Replace the toilet paper roll, fold it into a triangle, and stamp it with the faucet 

  • Scrub the toilet bowl & around the outside of the toilet 

  • Vacuum

  • Mop 

Bedrooms:

  • Change and replace the sheets & linen

  • Inspect closets and set aside any items left by the previous guest 

  • Empty trash bins

  • Vacuum

  • Mop

Kitchen:

  • Empty the refrigerator for leftover food or messes 

  • Wipe off crumbs or other messes from the stove 

  • Wipe faucets

  • Change and replace the kitchen towels

  • Clean and dry the sink

  • Empty/run the dishwasher as needed

  • Make sure the hand soap & the dish soap is full

  • Remove trash & replace bag 

  • Wipe down counters and inside the refrigerator

  • Vacuum

  • Mop

Living/Family Room:

  • Dust/wipe any furniture and high-touch surfaces

  • Inspect the inside of closets and organize hangers neatly

  • Remove any trash from space and empty trash bins

  • Sweep/vacuum space (including under couches and tables)

  • Vacuum

  • Mop

Laundry Room/Utility Room: 

  • Check and clean up any detergent spills

  • Check that laundry baskets are clean and ready for use

  • Remove dryer lint throw away (prevent fires) 

  • Wipe down the exterior of the washer and dryer (be sure to get those buttons and knobs)

  • Vacuum

  • Mop

Exterior of Property:

  • Remove any trash or debris 

  • Shake out the "Welcome Matts" 

  • Wipe down BBQ grill or other outdoor cooking areas 

  • Disinfect any dining areas 

  • Sweep the sitting/eating area

  • Wipe down patio furniture if needed

  • Sweep out the garage or use the leaf blower to remove debris (as needed) 

Restocking / Inventory / Final Touches:

  • Coffee/tea

  • Dish soaps/hand soaps

  • Laundry detergent

  • Napkins/paper towels

  • Toiletries (shampoo/conditioner/body wash)

  • Trash bags

  • Make a note of other items in need of restocking & send to the property manager

  • Take final photos
